Effective August 1, 2026, AZ Blue Health Choice is updating its payment release schedule.
Please note the new payment release days:
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Health Choice and Health Choice Pathway

Payments will be released on Mondays and Thursdays
ACA Standard Health with Health Choice
•
Payments will be released on Tuesdays and Fridays
To ensure faster, more secure access to your payments, we encourage providers who are not currently enrolled in Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to sign up. EFT eliminates mail delivery delays, reduces the risk of lost checks, and provides timely access to your funds directly through your designated bank account.
Please update your internal processes and payment reconciliation schedules to reflect these changes.
New AHCCCS Solutions Center Access to Care/Eligibility Form Available August 28
Beginning August 28, the AHCCCS Solutions Center will feature a new Access to Care/Eligibility form. The form will be available to all users, whether they are logged in or accessing the site as a guest. The new form is designed for submitting requests related to a member's or applicant's access to care or eligibility status. Requests may be submitted directly by the member/applicant or by an authorized representative on their behalf.
All other AHCCCS Solutions Center features and functionality will remain unchanged.
AHCCCS Community Forums on Draft HNT and ECR Policies
AHCCCS invites members, families, providers, advocates, managed care organizations (MCOs), and community partners to participate in upcoming community forums to review and discuss draft policies related to the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Needs Tool (HNT) and the Extraordinary Care Review (ECR) process.
During these sessions, AHCCCS will provide an overview of the draft policies, highlight key provisions, and gather feedback to help inform upcoming HNT/ECR exempt rulemaking. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the proposed policies, ask questions, and share input.

Free CME Course on Dementia Diagnosis and Management for Primary Care Providers
The Maricopa County BOLD Program and Hospice of the Valley have launched a new free, one-hour Continuing Medical Education (CME) course, Diagnosis and Management of Dementia for Primary Care Providers.
Designed to fit into busy clinical schedules, the course provides practical, evidence-based strategies to help primary care providers recognize, diagnose, and manage dementia. Participants will also learn effective approaches for communicating with patients and families, coordinating care, and guiding patients throughout their dementia journey.
The course is offered at no cost and features expertise from leading organizations, including Hospice of the Valley's Dementia Care and Education Campus, Banner Alzheimer's Institute, Barrow Neurological Institute, HonorHealth, and Mayo Clinic Neurology.
