Important Provider Updates: New Center of Excellence, Manual Changes, Forum Resources, and One Required Survey Hello AZ Blue Health Choice Provider Partners, We’re sharing important updates and reminders. Please read each section below and take action if needed. MIKID Centers of Excellence (COE) Announcement We’ve announced Mentally Ill Kids in Distress (MIKID) as a COE for Transitional Aged Youth (TAY). MIKID’s services include all behavioral health services, including: • Peer support • Therapy • Help with life transitions • Housing and job support • Care coordination and primary care Members or caregivers may self-refer. Referrals may also come from primary care or behavioral health providers. MIKID has locations in Casa Grande, Kingman, and Bullhead City. Read More About MIKID Provider Manual Updates We’ve updated some chapters in the AZ Blue Health Choice Provider Manuals. These changes may affect how you work with members and submit claims. What was updated:  • Chapter 2 - Member Eligibility & Services, section: 2.2 • Chapter 3 - Provider Responsibilities, sections: 3.4, 3.6, 3.34 • Chapter 11 - Claims and payments: Payment policy updates and a new Exhibit 11.1 • Chapter 18 - Behavioral Health: Help for checking Medicaid member eligibility, section 18.8.6 Providers should review these updates and follow current rules.
