AHCCCS implemented updates to the Same Day Disallow Table, effective October 1, 2026, based on provider feedback and ongoing efforts to balance member care and program integrity.
Reminder: AHCCCS previously updated the Medical Coding Resources Guide on September 2, 2026. Providers should review the guide and the newly updated coding resources to ensure billing, coding, and documentation practices align with current AHCCCS requirements.
