Updates
• GLP-1 drugs: We have revised our pharmacy coverage guideline for the GLP-1 drugs approved for treatment of type 2 diabetes. View the article to get the details about how this may impact your patients.
• Fee schedules: You will be able to preview the October fee schedule updates starting September 1. View article.
• Upcoming code edits: The effective date for the two new code edits that were to start August 1 has been moved to November 1, 2024 (“Obstetric Package” and “Frequency Across Dates”). Please share our recently revised list with your teams.
• Obsolete drug list: Four drug codes for influenza virus vaccines (90656, 90658, 90661, and 90673) have been reactivated. They now map to new products for the upcoming flu season. We have removed these codes from our obsolete drug code list.
