AZ Blue remits now on Availity Essentials

Good news! We’re now sending your AZ Blue payment information to the Availity Essentials™ provider portal. It’s quick and simple to find your remits there. Just go to Claims & Payments and click Remittance Viewer. If you don’t see the link, ask your account administrator to add the “Claim Status” user role to your account.

In Essentials, you can access AZ Blue remits for payments made on or after July 8, 2024. For remits related to payments made before July 8, please continue using the AZ Blue provider portal.

Cool features you might like

If you’re new to the Essentials Remittance Viewer, here are a few features that might make things easier for you:

•

When you open the remit viewer, you will see payments issued within the last seven days.

•

You’ll have several search options (e.g., check/EFT #, tax ID, NPI, payer, claim #, member ID).

•

You can adjust the date range and use the filters to set up or further refine your search.

•

Your search results will display in a ledger-like view to support your accounting.

Getting started with the remit viewer

The Availity team has recorded presentations that can help your teams get familiar with the remit viewer tool in Essentials. You must be logged in to access these recordings:

Not seeing AZ Blue remits?

To see remits from AZ Blue, your account administrator must complete a quick check/EFT validation (using an AZ Blue payment your organization has received in the last 30 days). Use the “Manage Access” button for this process. Once the validation is complete, all users in your organization with the “Claim Status” role will be able to see AZ Blue remits.
